Mr. Steve Chia, your willingness to donate $68,000 of your pay if elected plus proceeds of your books to help your constituents is an excellent example of leadership by examples which unfortunately maybe missing among extremely well-paid PAP ministers. To want to vacate and reside with your residents confirm your commitment to the people above your family and inconvenience. Your transparency in admitting your past mistakes is commendable. Learning from mistakes is a great blessing. Your constituents will be fortunate to have you as their MP. At the end of the day it is about love, commitment, hardwork and dedication not big money and big pay. Well done, Steve Chia.
